July 2015 An Update about Oakwood Butchers.
In order to devote more time to managing our expanding Welsh pigherd our cutting and packing service will cease as of September 2015, and is fully booked up until that time.
Similarly we will no longer supply sausage and bacon to bed and breakfast businesses. We will be concentrating on wholesaling our pigs as whole carcases to local businesses and selling breeding stock and youngstock.
After 40 years of butchering Chris will be hanging up his apron and working with the pigherd and marketing the end product.
