FEBRUARY 2013 An Update about Oakwood Butchers
In order to concentrate our time and resources on keeping Oakwood Butchers viable, as of 1st March 2013 we will no longer sell our meat at the farm gate, or be supplying local pubs and restaurants. We will be supplying guest houses with bacon and sausages for their breakfasts.
Our cutting and packing service will still be available for local producers.
We will be maintaining our rare breed pig herd at a sustainable level and selling our pigs as before.
By refining what we do at Oakwood, we hope to keep our business thriving and able to progress into the future.
A big thank you to all our customers past and present. Hopefully, in the near future, you may find Oakwood pork in other local retail outlets.
